So let's talk about leggings."
The modesty discussion is far deeper than protecting mature grown men and avoiding perverts. It's about our young men. Our little boys. The boys that you think are still too young and cute to have sexual thoughts. I tell you what, it makes me angry to see you in the stores with your breasts hanging out of your top and your "spray painted legs" underneath and my little brother trying to avoid looking at you. You are poisoning his mind. You are feeding his new perverted interests in women's sexuality. You are leading him to go home and Google "woman with no underwear. Woman with no clothes." You showed him up close and personal what your naked body looks like with fabric stretched over it. You showed him every crease of your bottom and every jiggle with every step. Now it's burning in his little eleven-year-old mind to see you with nothing. What does it look like under that tiny layer of spandex?
Don't even try go go and feed orphans. Don't try to care for the homeless and the hungry. They're distracted. By your rear. By your lack of care for their eyes and hearts. You care about their stomachs, but not their minds. You care about their souls, but not about feeding their minds with improper sexual thoughts.

Rant over. Just think about it. It's not okay to wear leggings as pants. You do not have freedom in Christ to make little boys want to see you naked.Sarshanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5134334119712954076.post-51943753454484904832015-02-11T06:27:01.840-08:002015-02-11T06:27:01.840-08:00Worthwhile reading. I, too, found her comparison to pharisees to be a poor analogy, not to mention it's a rather uncharitable comparison to make.

Not to mention the fact that she 'spent time' talking about Yoga pants...oh well. I suppose we will always have people who hate holiness and rail against it until Jesus returns.

Great point about how we are all discipling someone, too.Michael Coughlinhttp://michaelcoughlin.net/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5134334119712954076.post-74290835946110183852015-02-10T11:58:41.928-08:002015-02-10T11:58:41.928-08:00good stuff Josh!
